100-Hour Advance Your Yoga Practice

Our 100-Hour Practitioner Course is perfect for dedicated yoga enthusiasts looking to delve deeper into the philosophy and techniques of yoga. Whether you're aiming to enhance your personal practice, explore the depths of yoga philosophy, or begin sharing your knowledge with others, this course offers a strong foundation. It's also an ideal choice if you're considering teacher training but aren't certain if teaching is your path. Should you decide to continue your journey, you can always transfer these hours toward our 200-Hour Certification.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program

Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program is tailored to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to lead classes with authenticity and skill. Unlike other programs that give you a script to position students in a particular posture, we strive to give you an experiential understanding of how yoga can be used as a therapeutic practice. Our comprehensive training will enable you to understand not just what to do when leading a class but also why you are doing it, and what effect can you have on a student, giving you the strongest foundation possible. This training also includes our 25-Hour Trauma Informed Teacher Certification.

Renew Your Yoga Teacher Training Program

For those who are already yoga teachers, this program is specifically designed as a refresher and/or to fill in the gaps left by your previous training. Led by our highly trained Yoga Therapist Kevala, this program goes beyond the basics to provide a deeper understanding of authentic yoga. Whether you're seeking to refine your teaching skills, deepen your knowledge, or gain confidence in working with diverse student needs, this training will elevate your practice. You’ll explore advanced techniques, learn how to apply yoga therapeutically, and understand the profound effects of each posture, breath, and movement on the body and mind.

Your Instructor

Kevala discovered yoga and meditation after enduring years of severe trauma and complex PTSD. When traditional psychotherapy and even somatics didn’t provide the relief she sought, yoga revealed a different path. Through its integration of breath, āsana, and, most importantly, internal awareness and self-study, yoga became more than a physical practice—it became a gateway to deep reflection and internal connection. By turning inward and examining the patterns of her mind and body, Kevala was able to release the trauma stored within her and find profound healing. This process of inner work not only transformed her life off the mat but also introduced her to a spiritual dimension of healing, offering a peace and sense of Self she had never imagined possible. For her, yoga is not just something you do—it is a state of being and a way of experiencing life.

As a dedicated student of Yoga, Meditation, Prāṇāyāma, Chanting, and Yoga Philosophy, Kevala has immersed herself deeply in these ancient traditions. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Yoga Therapist in-training, and is currently pursuing her MS/Ph.D. in Yoga Science at Vivekananda Yoga University. With a specialization in Yoga for Trauma Recovery and Spiritual teachings, Kevala combines her comprehensive training with her own lived experience to compassionately guide others on their healing and Self-discovery journeys.

As the founder and owner of The Mind-Body Connection Yoga Studio, Kevala is committed to making yoga accessible to everyone. Her mission is to shift the perception of yoga in the U.S. from a fitness routine to a powerful therapeutic modality and an accessible spiritual practice, deeply rooted in its ancient traditions and capable of transforming lives.
